The How, Why and When of Replacing Engineering Work with Compute Power
15:00 (EEST) - 15:40
Many data scientists spend the bulk of their time doing tasks that do not make full use of their capabilities. Long hours are spent on e.g. preparing and selecting features or making small, incremental model changes. This talk explores how some of the more drudging work can be handed over to computers so that data scientists can focus on the exciting and high value tasks that they, as humans, are uniquely positioned for.
